Calendars

Airbnb and Vrbo in and out by iCal, conflicts caught, blocks, the month view.

Most hosts list in more than one place. The calendar keeps every place in step so the same night is never sold twice, and it is the thing the turnovers are built from.

iCal in

Paste the iCal link from Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com or any system that gives one. Each feed syncs on its own schedule, every 30 minutes by default and never less often than every 15, and a change on the other platform shows here within the hour. Reserved dates block the listing; a block on Airbnb is a block here.

iCal out

Every listing exports a feed of its own; add it to Airbnb and Vrbo and a booking here blocks the dates there. Our own export coming back through another feed is recognised as an echo, never a conflict.

Conflicts

When two feeds claim the same night, or a feed claims a night already booked here, the conflict is shown on the calendar and you are told. A feed that stops answering is marked in error and counts against the listing in search until it is fixed, because a stale calendar is how double bookings happen.

Blocks and the month view

Block a night or a range by hand, with a note. The month view shows every listing on one grid: stays, blocks, prices, and the turnovers between them.
