Integrations

PriceLabs, Hostaway, iCal calendars, your own API key, and the partner page for PriceLabs.

Everything that connects to YouAndHost is switched on from one screen, Settings → Integrations, on the website and in the app. Nothing here is required: a host with one listing and no other system needs none of it. Where a connection is not switched on for the site yet, the screen says so, and there is nothing to do on your side.

Settings → Integrations: PriceLabs, Hostaway, your own API key.

PriceLabs

If PriceLabs already prices your listings on Airbnb or another system, its prices can come here too. PriceLabs becomes the price for a synced listing: what it sends is each night's rate and minimum stay. Set overrides, minimums and your floor in PriceLabs rather than on the calendar, because the next sync writes over the calendar.

  1. In PriceLabs open Account Settings → API Details, enable the API and copy the key. PriceLabs bills $1 per listing per month for this on your PriceLabs account.
  2. Paste the key under Settings → Integrations. We read your PriceLabs listings and show them next to yours.
  3. Match each PriceLabs listing to the listing here it prices, save, and the prices arrive. Pull them again any time; a nightly sync keeps them fresh.
  4. Disconnect whenever you like. The prices already on your calendar stay; no new ones arrive until you connect again.
A listing needs a nightly price of its own before PriceLabs starts from it, and the fees, discounts and taxes on the pricing page apply on top of whatever PriceLabs sends.

There is a second door, built for the day PriceLabs opens it to us: the partner connector, in which YouAndHost is the property management system and PriceLabs pushes prices in without a key on your side. The technical page for PriceLabs is public at youandhost.com/integration. Nothing about it needs you.

To use it: in PriceLabs, allow YouAndHost to add listings to your account, then under Settings → Integrations enter the email you sign in to PriceLabs with and switch each listing on. PriceLabs refuses a listing from an account that has not allowed us. PriceLabs bills its own fee per synced listing on your PriceLabs account; the figures are on its billing page. To stop, switch the listing off here or toggle Sync off in PriceLabs.

Hostaway

Already on Hostaway? Connect it with the Account ID and API key you make there, under Settings → Integrations or from the first step of the listing wizard, and your listings come over whole: name, description and house rules, rooms and beds, the address, check-in and checkout times, the nightly price, minimum and maximum nights, the cancellation policy mapped to ours, the cleaning and extra-guest fees, amenities and photos. Phone numbers and email addresses are dropped from public text on the way in.

An imported listing is yours to edit like any other; the import is a start, not a link that keeps pulling. Other systems are listed on the same screen so we know which to connect next.

Airbnb, Vrbo and other calendars

Calendars connect by iCal, in and out, and need no key: paste the other place's feed here and add ours there. How that works, what happens on a conflict, and the turnovers built from it are on the calendars page.

Your own API key

A spreadsheet, a channel manager or a script of your own can read your data here. Create a key under Settings → Integrations; it is shown once, and every request carries it in the x-api-key header. Make a new key to retire the old one.

  • Everything PriceLabs or Hostaway hold about you stays on their side under their terms; we keep the key you gave us, encrypted, and nothing else from them.
  • Disconnecting PriceLabs tells it every synced listing is unavailable, so it stops pricing them; nothing of yours is deleted.
