Messaging and OSCAR, your AI co-host

The inbox, the AI co-host that answers from your own words, rules, approvals, delayed replies.

The inbox is where guests and hosts talk, before a booking and through the stay, on the website, in the app, and by email and text when a message arrives. OSCAR, your AI co-host, is in it.

OSCAR, your AI co-host, in one paragraph

OSCAR answers guests from what you told it: the interview, the house notes, the area guide, the listing itself. It never invents a house rule, never reveals a lock code before the guest is entitled to it, and says plainly when it does not know, which is when you are told. On Basic, OSCAR answers guests on your listing page and in the app, and your inbox is yours to answer. On Premium, OSCAR answers inside the inbox as well.

A thread in the inbox: the guest's question, OSCAR's answer from the interview, and the host's own message after it.

Rules and approvals (Premium)

Late checkout, early check-in, an extra guest, a pet: for each, OSCAR either asks you first, decides by a rule you set (yes until 1 pm if nobody arrives that day, $25 a night per extra guest up to two), or acts by itself. When it asks, you get a text and answer with one tap or one word; the guest is told the moment you do. Every decision OSCAR makes is on the record with the reason.

Delayed replies (free)

Write a message once and pick the moment: four minutes after the booking, the evening before check-in, the evening before checkout, after checkout, or a time of your own. Pick the listings it is for. Every guest of those listings gets it at that moment, as a message from you, with the guest’s name, the dates and the listing filled in. OSCAR keeps out of their way.

The inbox itself

  • Threads for inquiries and for stays, with the guest’s name, the dates and the listing at the top; what the other side cannot yet see is held back: the street address until five days before check-in, phone numbers until the check-in date.
  • Archive and unread marks that are yours alone; an archived thread comes back by itself when a new message arrives.
  • Emoji, reactions, and photos and files once a booking is confirmed.
  • Email and text for every message, each one answerable by replying.

OSCAR for you (Premium)

Ask OSCAR about your business in plain words: who arrives this weekend, which listing is empty next month, what is at risk today. Each morning, the daily briefing: arrivals, departures, turnovers, what needs you.
