Your team

Team and co-hosts

Roles, listing by listing, co-host pay, and the identity check everyone passes.

One person can run a place; most places are run by a few. The team is the people you bring in, each with a role and, if you like, only some of your listings. Everyone who joins passes the same identity check you did, before they can accept.

Inviting someone

  1. Settings → Team, on the website or in the app: their email, the role, and every listing or only some.
  2. They get an email with a link good for seven days. They sign in with that email, verify their identity if they have not, and accept.
  3. They see only the listings you chose. Change the role or the listings any time; remove them with one tap.

Paying a co-host

You and a co-host agree, in writing, how they are paid for each stay, and the platform keeps the ledger. You propose on the Team page: a percentage of the rental after discounts, a fixed amount per booking, the cleaning fee, or the cleaning fee plus a percentage; the work they take on from a list, and anything else in your words. They get the proposal in plain language with a worked example and accept or decline. From then on their share of each stay is earned the day after check-in, when you are paid for it, shows as owed to both of you, and is marked paid when you pay them. YouAndHost takes nothing on it, and never moves this money without you.

Companions

A guest can add companions to a trip: they see the stay page, the walkthroughs and OSCAR, never the payment.
